FeedDoctor Terms of Service

Effective date: July 12, 2026

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the FeedDoctor Shopify app ("FeedDoctor", the "App"), provided by Kalo Labs ("Kalo Labs", "we", "us", "our"). By installing or using the App, you ("you", the "merchant") agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App. Questions: support@getfeeddoctor.com.

1. The service

FeedDoctor is an embedded Shopify app that scans your Shopify product catalog for errors that can cause products to be rejected or excluded from Google Merchant Center, Google Shopping, and AI-shopping surfaces; estimates the revenue at risk; generates AI-suggested fixes that you can preview, approve, and undo; and monitors for future exclusions and emails you a digest. If you connect a Google Merchant Center account, FeedDoctor reads your Merchant Center product statuses and item-level issues (via Google's restricted content scope, with your OAuth consent) to reconcile them against its own scan. Our collection and use of data is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

2. Eligibility and account

You must have an active Shopify store and the authority to install apps and authorize data access for that store. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Shopify and Google accounts and for all activity that occurs through your use of the App.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the App in violation of any applicable law or the terms of Shopify or Google; misrepresent products in a way that violates Google Merchant Center or Shopify policies; attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App, other merchants' data, or our infrastructure; probe, scan, overload, or interfere with the App or its subprocessors; reverse engineer or resell the App except as permitted by law; or use the App to process data you are not authorized to process. You are responsible for ensuring your product content and any changes you approve comply with applicable laws and marketplace policies.

4. AI-suggested fixes — you approve every write, and every write is reversible

FeedDoctor generates suggested fixes using a third-party large language model. The App does not change your catalog automatically. Every write to your product data (product title, description, and vendor) is shown to you in a preview and is applied only after you explicitly approve that specific fix, and every applied change can be reversed using the App's undo function. You are solely responsible for reviewing each suggestion before approving it and for the content you choose to publish. You retain ownership of your product content.

5. No warranty on AI suggestions; service provided "as is"

AI-generated suggestions and revenue-at-risk estimates are provided for your consideration only and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable; they are not professional, legal, or financial advice, and we do not guarantee any particular Merchant Center approval, ranking, traffic, or revenue outcome. Because you review and approve every change before it is applied, you are responsible for the results of applying (or not applying) any suggestion. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", and we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty regarding availability, accuracy, or uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not warrant the acts or omissions of Shopify, Google, or any subprocessor.

6. Third-party services

The App depends on Shopify, Google, and other subprocessors identified in our Privacy Policy. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and policies, and we are not responsible for their availability, changes, or actions. Your connection and use of Google Merchant Center data is also subject to Google's terms and the Google API Services User Data Policy.

7. Billing

FeedDoctor is billed through Shopify-managed app pricing. Any subscription fees, charges, trials, and taxes are presented to you at install or upgrade and are processed by Shopify through your Shopify account in accordance with Shopify's billing terms. We do not collect or store your payment card details. Except where required by law or Shopify's policies, fees are non-refundable. If you disagree with a change to pricing, your remedy is to uninstall the App.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will Kalo Labs be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost sales, lost or corrupted data, or loss of goodwill, arising out of or relating to the App or these Terms, even if advised of the possibility. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the App or these Terms will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the App in the three (3) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or fifty US dollars (US$50). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kalo Labs from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your product content, your use of the App, changes you approve, or your violation of these Terms or of applicable law or third-party (including Shopify or Google) policies.

10. Termination and uninstall

You may stop using and uninstall the App at any time through your Shopify admin. Uninstalling ends your right to use the App and, as described in our Privacy Policy, triggers deletion of your store's data (via Shopify's shop/redact compliance webhook approximately 48 hours after uninstall). We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, if required for security or legal reasons, or if we discontinue the App. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 5, 8, 9, 11, and 12) survive.

11. Changes to the App and these Terms

We may modify the App or these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change to these Terms, we will update the effective date and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the App after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and you and Kalo Labs submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the Province of Ontario, Canada for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
